The tour begins with pick up at hotel Magaggiari and transfer to San Vito Lo Capo. Here you will find a long strip of the finest sand and the sea of dazzling colors remembering the one of the distant Caribbean. The shallow waters and the low tide are safe even for the youngest children and you can swim or sunbathe quietly.

The first half of the tour is free time so, in case you prefer to visit the small town of San Vito Lo Capo, here you will find a lot to see. The heart of the village is Piazza Santuario.  Overlooked by the sanctuary-fortress dedicated to St. Vitus the Martyr, patron saint of the town, the main square can be reached by via Savoia that is the perfect destination for shopping and relaxing strolls filled with musicians, street performers and stalls full of original artifacts. Another nice stroll is the one along the quay where fishermen dock their colorful boats, at the end of which you can admire the Torrazzo, one of the many defense towers found along the Sicilian coast that once served to protect the island from pirate attacks.

The tour continues toward Erice, a very well preserved medieval village that dominate the western Sicilian coast. You will visit the village with its Castle, churches and the Duomo, having the chance to taste the famous handmade pastries of Maria Grammatico.

After  Erice, you will move over the coast between Trapani and Marsala to profit of the charming view given by the saltworks of Trapani, where the ancient tradition of the handmade salt production is still carried out.

Here you will have the chance to see the salt pyramids along the collecting tanks and visit the salt museum of Nubia inside an ancient windmill.

Transfer back to the hotel Magaggiari.
